The Navarre Beach area has everything to offer the outdoorsman or athlete. There is a 40-mile bike path that runs from the island all the way to Pensacola Beach, via the Gulf Island National Seashore- an eight mile stretch of undeveloped, protected beach, through Gulf Breeze and back down to Navarre. Navarre Beach has a fishing pier, jet ski rentals, bike rentals, outdoor picnic areas, parasailing, sailboat rentals and more. In the north end of the county, there are several beautiful, crystal clear rivers for camping, canoeing, kayaking, and tubing.
Santa Rosa County also has some fabulous golf courses, including The Moors, where the Emerald Coast Classic, a Senior PGA event is held. Other courses include Tiger Point East and West, Tanglewood Golf and Country Club, Stonebrook Golf Club, and the Club at Hidden Creek.
